   About Us

Over the past 40 years the Directors of Australian Special Products Pty Ltd, have been involved with the Design, development and             manufacture of a range of machines.

Water pumps and Pressure systems for Aircraft, Marine,  Motor Home, and Caravan Industries, were the first products developed in the UK and this lead to the formation of ASP Pty Ltd, in February, 1992. 

In Australia, ASP Pty Ltd is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of specialised laboratory equipment incorporating the latest in design technology and safety requirements.

All small, medium and large shakers can operate under a variety of environmental conditions ranging from Arctic, Desert and Tropical  regions throughout the World.  One particular feature is their ability to operate wherever there is a 240V/115V AC or DC power supply       available, with power failure notification and automatic switchover to      alternative power source as standard.  If necessary, run the Shakers on Wind Generation or Solar Power.  All ASP products run on a 24 Volt DC Power Supply via a Universal AC Adaptor, for safety reasons.

ASP products have been in use in Hospitals, Pathology,  Serology,  Universities, Pharmaceutical Companies and Blood service             Laboratories for many years.  The latest product development of      Orbital/Cyclic Platelet Shakers was undertaken in conjunction with the         Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) who have tested and  approved the use of these machines in their laboratories.

ASP Pty Ltd would like to thank the ARCBS for their contribution and testing of this new generation of Platelet Shaker (Cyclic motion).
